Dear Sir

I am much obliged to you for the beautiful specimens of Photoglyphs which you have been so kind as to send me. They seem to me to indicate a great advance upon former efforts of yours in the same direction which I have seen – and in many of them the delicacy and truth of the negatives have been preserved to a remarkable extent. I trust that you may soon arrive at a degree of excellence which will leave nothing more to be desired – It has been very gratifying to me to receive these impressions from you, and I shall place them with much pleasure in my collection –
