Sir,
I beg to excuse me that I have not been able to reply immediately to your last communication. <1> But the blocks which I am going to send for your inspection <2> are now in the exhibition of the photographic Society of London, which will be closed on the end of this week. Therefore next week I will comply with your wishes, and forward to you two of the blocks for the mentioned purpose.
I have sent you last summer some printed specimens of my blocks, – I hope you have received them? –
