Sir
In answer to your letter of yesterday’s date I have to state that my house at Graythwaite is let till the 1st September. As I am much from home & very locomotive I have put the letting of it into the hands of Mr J. H. Johnson of 47 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London W.C <1> – If you should be in want of a house after that time Mr Johnson will be glad to treat with you –
I am, Sir, very respectfully
J. J. Rawlinson
