Please to accept our very best thanks for the trouble you have taken regarding the medal.

If the Jury were willing the matter could easily be managed still by giving us the medal that there was (a mistake about) as an award for the durability of our pictures which we are happy to say are as fresh as the day they left Princes Street, while those of many others are faded and have had to be removed

We have taken the liberty of sending you some specimens of Children &c which we hope you will think worthy of a place in your scrap Book & oblige
