5, New Burlington Street, W.
March 31.
Dear Sir,
The publication of the current part of the Journal has been delayed for upwards of six months in consequence of a long article on Pehlvi Legends by Mr. E. Thomas which required new type & other additions of every kind. But the whole of it is now in type, & the Journal will be delivered without fail in the course of April.
The Council are very sensible of your great liberality towards the Society. Every saving of the kind is all the more acceptable as we shall have to leave our house a year hence when with the expiration of the lease the landlord will considerably raise the rent. We do not know yet whither we shall migrate, but the expense will be very great anyhow.
Yours very faithfully
Reinhold Ross.
