Dr Sir

We have sufficient evidence of the correctness of the 2d part of the specificatn <2> in which the invisible image is made to come out positively; and therefore this part need not be experimented on, <3> but perhaps you will like to see some specimens of it. I propose next summer to make a series of Camera Views of this little known branch of the art. The principle is sufficly shown by the enclosed, <4> which is the shadow of a slip of card.
