We have sufficient evidence of the correctness of the 2^d part of the specificat^{n <2>} in which the invisible image is made to come out positively; and therefore this part need not be experimented on, ^<3> but perhaps you will like to see some specimens of it. I propose next summer to make a series of Camera Views of this little known branch of the art. The principle is suffic^ly shown by the enclosed, ^<4> which is the shadow of a slip of card.
