Abbotsbury <1>
Sunday –

My Dear Henry

I should like your offer of a tour with you exceedingly, if I thought I could any how manage it, but as I could hardly leave Scotland <2> without seeing Edinburgh & paying one or two visists [sic], I do not believe it possible for me to be ready to leave it so soon as to join you in your travels which I hope will be agreable & prosperous, I am sure the devotedness of going to the Inn will have its due weight.

Ever yours sincerely
J. Fox Strangways –

H. Fox Talbot Esqr
