As you live at No 31 <1> I cannot help troubling you with a commission at No 32, especially as it is a Botanical one – You owe me a letter at least so I say no more –

I found near Rome Linum aureum & Silene trinervia & at Nemi a tall Lavatera like a hollyhock – & at Mola Lonicera implexa! Do you know Salvia bicolor?

Pray send me some seed of our wild Scabiosa columbaria it is much wanted here as nobody seems to be sure of it Tenore <2> has some very curious Scabiosas from Calabria he is making a late tour in Abruzzo to gather seeds –
