My dear Henry
I have this moment received a magnificent box of seeds from Mexico <1> more than I know what to do with I wish you were here to pick out any you like – You have given me so poor an idea of Lacock as a winter place that I am afraid to send any of the most promising there, but I shall send a few to Bowood - <2> I enclose some that I think may interest you, & of which you might sow some now & keep the rest till Spring.
There are among them a Gentian – an Erythrea – a Cistus besides Agaves & Acacias e Regione frigidâ <3> which will just do for Abbotsbury <4>.
Let me know how long you are to be found at Lacock
