My dear Henry
Lady Elisabeth <1> intends to divide her journey without into two days – so you must not expect her tomorrow evening – but the next day Wednesday. – And pray tell Wright <2> of this alteration in her plans, that he may spare himself the trouble of providing Yorkshire-cakes, Cream, Butter & other good things for tea that evening –
Horatia <3> has a bad cold which makes it advisable for her to go through the journey quietly instead of hurrying off in the morning & sitting twelve hours in the carriage. – but I hope & expect that after the fatigue is over, she will find benefit from change of air. – I am delighted to hear that your Drawings had such success <4>– Why do you deprive yourself of Nicholl <5> under the idea of my wanting him? it is quite a pity; but as he is coming I will remember to send to meet him –
Your affte.
Constance
