Lacock Abbey
July 6.th
My dear Henry
I have sent Horatia <1> some flowers in the Basket today – Pray observe whether she appears to have time to notice them & to read the tickets. – Mlle Amélina <2> assures me that it must prove rather more of a trouble than a pleasure to her in the bustle of London – If so, it is useless for me to do it. – Just before you come away, I shall be glad if you will send Nichole <3> to 37 Queen Anne St. <4> to ask if my Sisters <5> have a little parcel to send me. I had a note from Mrs Moore <6> this morning to say that she had had excellent accounts of Russell. <7> – She does not say how, but I suppose from some ship passing at Sea. – Madlle Amélina is better today. – & the Chicks <8> are quite well. –
Your affte
Constance
