Weymouth
Nov. 9th

My dear Henry

I am rather glad that you are going to Lacock for a day or two, as it will shorten your journey & give you an additional change of air – and I hope & entreat you will take that opportunity of again consulting Mr Kenrick <1> about the best way of tending yourself in future – of which he will be able to judge from the progress already made, since he began to prescribe for you – There is a superabundance of doctors here, & many clever ones perhaps amongst them, but consulting them would not be so good as speaking to Mr Kenrick, who is beginning now I hope to understand your case. – I suppose your plan (in coming here) will be to sleep at Bath the first night & then come on by the Weymouth Coach, which leaves Bath every morning ¼ before 10 – & arrives here about 6 or 7 – I long to see you arrive & think I shall be able to make you so comfortable! I can scarcely fancy that I shall have completed three weeks here tomorrow – the time certainly passes quickly & pleasantly. – I should like much to have Sir David Brewster’s life of Sir Isaac Newton, <2> if you can bring it with you without trouble –

The children <3> have been very flourishing, till they managed to catch colds a few days ago – but I don’t think they will be of much inconvenience – Ela’s indeed seems already nearly well – but Rosamund looks a little pale & delicate –

Your affte
Constance.
