Lacock Abbey
Monday July 1st /67
My dear Father,
I received a letter from Rosamond <1> by the 2nd post, sending her love to you and a message to tell you that they are so comfortable at Dover, that you may take your time and not hurry more than you like to come and pick them up. –
I found you had departed on my return from Melksham. The bank says that if I want money, and will write to them they will send a circular note or letter of credit according to the place I write from, at their discretion as to which method [illegible deletion] be best.
Your affect son
Charles
