Trin Coll. <1>
Monday March 11.
My dear Father.
Mr Mathison <2> informed us this morning that we could go down on next Thursday. This vacation is I believe for 3 weeks. I don’t know whether I mentioned it to you when at Edinburgh, that I had thought it might be as well for me to read up here and not go down at all, but I think I shall be better for a change, and had better come go down & see you a little at Lacock. I don’t think I should read a bit better here than there and, I think I if you had as leisure to show me some ma Algebra, I it would be some advantage to me, for I understand th mathematics better when I see the way you put them. I payed my college bill, the other day. day.
