My dear Papa,

This is how I write, but I hope that you will excuse my capitals as I can not make them better for I have never learned to make them Mamma <1> is going to Bath today I think I send my love and a kiss to you, and do you know that I spelt kish instead of kiss was not that a mistake. but Papa you must know that this letter was not traced for me and I dare say you will like it the better for that.

from Your child

Ela
