My dear Henry
I am sorry you did not save more seed of your Silene but I am sure I shall have enough for all if it flourishes! –
I send you some seed of a neat little Silene which Ld Nicholl brought home two years ago, it seems to flourish here. he is the Gardener of the family & would prize any of your varieties I am sure having got a Stove in which he is vy fond of trying experiments & nursing up treasures I wish you knew him. –
You never answered my questions about your plants & in the box is there any earth at all for their roots?
I saw the Desfontainia Spinosa at Lacock but it was not in flower. – My pretty little heath leaved listus never recovered
Mr Traherne is just now in London he went up with Jane last Wedy for a short time
Charlotte is pretty well we send our love to You all. –
I shall remain here a few days longer & then go to Margam –
