Dear Papa,
you must soon come home and see the Rabbits. there are four little ones, they are quite white like their Mother, Our Wvegeatables are grown so big! the strawberries, and Cherries are ripe. the Poppies are in flower, and the Dahlia’s are beginning, the Roses do not make much show. The three fields near the house have not been mowed.
It has been shoerwery all today but this evening it has cleared up, I wonder if it is so in London.
From your Affectionate Daughter
