1. WHFT lived at this London address, just down the street from the Royal Institution, for half of April and the whole of May, 1833.

2. WHFT, ‘Remarks on Chemical Changes of Colour’, Philosophical Magazine, v. 2, May 1833, pp. 359–360.

3. The next paper WHFT published in the same magazine was entered the following month, ‘Remarks upon an Optical Phenomenon, seen in Switzerland’, Philosophical Magazine, v. 2, June 1833, p. 425.
