As we are quite by ourselves, Mrs Beilby Thompson <1> and I are much afraid that you will find this place very dull before the arrival of your family from Castle Howard <2> on Monday, but we shall be very happy to have the honor of receiving you on Saturday (to-morrow) & I will only add that we dine at ½ past six.
