Coedriglan <1>
June 28th
My dear Henry
The place Sir Christopher <2> has taken is Lanelay <3> you will see it in your map not far from Llantrissent –it is only a morning drive from hence so that if you will come to us you can drive over and see them if they should be arrived – I hope you found Aunt Lily & Horatia <4> well – I was in hopes I should have seen Caroline <5> in London give my love to her if she is now with you – I think her little boy <6> must be a very amusing age just now – I hope you will write & fix a day for your coming soon. I have been ill lately but am quite sufficiently recovered to enjoy your company and the weather is now delightful though hardly settled enough for long out door expeditions the country looks all the prettier for the varying lights & shades – Mr Traherne <7> is gone to the Neath Quarter Sessions but he will return on Wednesday – We have a pretty little thing in blow now the Anamotheca Conente and I dare say you would find several other things to look at – Phacelia cerulea is new to us and very pretty – Pray make up your minds and come here forthwith – Love to Mrs Talbot & baby <8> & believe me
your affectionate cousin
