Sir,
On the 12th instant Miss L. N. Newton sent to me that the Instrument of Renunciation which had been excecuted by herself When the next of Kin of the late Miss Clare Newton had been forwarded to you for your & Mrs Talbots signatures. Not having received it from you as she led me to expect I have to request you will do me the Kindness to forward it to me in order that I may sent it to Mr & Mrs Gelder for their execution. Miss Merton I understand mentioned to you that you & Mrs Talbot were to sign & deliver it as you act & do so in the presence of two Witnesses who are to give their names places of abode & occupations or professions –
