I am very much obliged to you for lending me the interesting drawings of Lacock and other places in Wiltshire, which have afforded Mrs Talbot <1> and myself much pleasure in looking over. I return them with this note. With respect to Nature’s becoming her own miniature painter, I understand that Daguerre <2> has arrived at effects which are almost perfect.
