1. No WHFT letter from this time frame has been traced. However, his relationship with Collen had become increasingly strained and he had been in correspondence with his lawyer over this [See, for example Doc. No: 04814].

2. Henry Collen (1800-1879), miniature painter, calotypist & spiritualist, London; he was the first calotypist licensed by Talbot.
