Sir,

at the Time I made out the List of Part of your Cloaths. that where to remain in Sackville Street <1> & which list You have with you on Your Departure for Paris (the 4th Feby /25) I was not Informed by James. that the Undermentioned [Coats?] where to be Left? They are as follows –

2 Blue Morn’g Frock Coats
1 Green do – do
1 Black do – do these things where laid out on a Table at the time of Yr Cloaths being packd [sic] up
– (Yellow Buttons) bracket symbol - left (from which time I took the acct of the list you now have) but I was not Informd [sic] they where to Remain –
1 Brown Kerseymere Waistcoat
1 Pr Grey Trousers
1 “ Blue – do
1 “ Shoes –

The above does not correspond with the List You have forwarded to me dated the 11 Febry in Runs thus –

2 Blue Morn’g Coats (Right)
2 do Even’g do (Error)
1 Brown Waistcoat (Right) bracket symbol - left
2 Blue Trousers – (Error)
1 Pr Long Drawers – (none left)
1 “ – White Silk Stockn’gs (none left)

James took Possession of All the th things that was left on Yr Journeying into Dorsetshire on Yr return to London. I made a new Selection of what was to Stop here: their [sic] is nothing in the Shape of Drawers, Stockings, or Linnen of any Kind –
