My dear Mr Talbot
I am sorry to say that owing to the pressure of the Simonides question which has occupied the whole of our time at the last two meeting[s] I have not been able to read your paper. I shall not fail, however, to do so on Wednesday the 11th after which if you like I will deliver it at once to the printer. I have just received a remarkable Ph śn. Inscription from Sardinia – with a portion of its equivalents in Greek and Latin! This is now being drawn for the R S L. but before it is in print y [sic] shall see a copy of it
Ever sincerely yours
