Dear Sir

My mother <2> wishes to know whether your experiments tomorrow evening, are at King’s College, or at your house in Conduit St– The hour we suppose to be Eight O’clock–

The Marquis of Lansdowne <3> having expressed a wish to see the experiments, I have answered for you that I was sure you would be very glad to see him, if he is able to come.
