2. See Doc. No: 08251, written on Saturday 17 November 1860. Since there is an immediacy to the tone of this letter, WHFT's to Whewell was probably written one of the two previous Saturdays. WHFT's family was in Cumberland at this time - See Doc. No: 08245.
