I beg to inform you that I received the 2 plants from the Horticultural Society <1> mentioned in your letter as soon as I received them I repoted them and put the Thunbergia in the stove and placed the other with the greenhouse plants I have sown the 2 packets of Seed you sent me from Cumberland I am sorry to tell you that the weather hear is Still very wet and cold for the month of August nothing can thrive as the Ground is quite drenched with rain the Potatoes is very bad again with the decease,
