Chippenham <1>
Saturday Morning
Dear Sir
Mr Mayne <2> arrived at Chippenham this Morning and I have just been informed, Mr Pownal <3> or some other Gentleman in his stead will be here in a day or two.
If you have no particular engagement to-Day I beg to submit to you the propriety of your calling on Mr Michell <4> and Mr Ashe <5> this Morning, which will prevent any interruption in our Canvass on Monday and possibly be considered by those Gentlemen as a mark of peculiar respect and attention. –
I remain
Dear Sir
Yours very faithfully & obliged
Wm Wilmot Junr
