Dear Sir

I believe there is a poor Man of the name of Jaques residing in Back Lane, but I have no personal knowledge of him – he certainly is not a Voter. –

Some time ago there was a talk here of endeavoring to get the Market now held on a Saturday, held on a Friday, but no steps have been taken to carry it into effect.
