Thinking that your Letter would probably appear in the Athenæum ^<1> of next Saturday I sent a reply to be inserted at the same time. But I find by a Letter from M^r Robert Hunt ^<2> that your communication has not reached the Editor of the Athenæum. I have therefore forwarded to him the copy of it with which you favored me, and I believe he has transmitted to you my reply.
