Dear Sir,
I have received from Munich two small works directed to you, one of them is by the late Professor Fraunhofer <3> the other the plates to Gruithuisen’s Lunar Fragments, a very extraordinary production. These shall be left for you here till you send directions about them.
I should have let you know of their arrival before, but I thought you were abroad having written to you at 56 Devonshire St & received no answer. Utzchneider <4> of Munich writes me word your commissions are nearly completed.
I remain Dear Sir Yours very truly
W.H.F. Talbot
