1 furnace in blast, the metal is run twice a day at 5 A.M. & 5 P.M Each time about <illegible deletion> 10 tons, 7 days in a week – makes 140 tons per week – They hope, with 2 furnaces to reach 300 tons per week say 15,000 per ann.

Ore raised by contract & delivered at 1^s?ּ0^d ½ p. ton? at the furnace. 2 tons 15 cw^t of ore required to give 1 ton of iron. 1 ton of Welsh Coke + 8 cwt of welsh coal required to give 1 ton of iron. Propose to employ all coke & no coal. Welsh coal comes in ship direct, without transhipm^t at Bristol. Costs 14^s per ton at the works? Limestone f^m S^t Vincents Rocks Clifton costs 6^s per ton? Seend limestone not yet tried. Somersetshire coal not yet tried, cost w^d be about the same as welsh.
