I hereby acknowledge that the model of a saw mill exhibited by me at the Egyptian Hall, Piccadily (being on the principle of a patent gratned to W. H. F. Talbot Esq. for "Improvements in Motive Power") is so exhibited by me by and with the permission of the said patentee, and not otherwise.

And I hereby undertake not to make any other engine or model within England and Wales upon the principle of the said patent or which shall be an infringement thereof without the written license and permission of the said patentee first had and obtained.
