Dear Talbot
When I returned from Harrow, I found that Lady Leitrim <1> had put off our dinner on Saturday in consequence of the breakfast at Chiswick, Where I dare say we shall meet you, & from whence it would probably be very difficult to get any body to come back to town to dinner – May, I hope that you will excuse this, & that you will give us the pleasure of your company on Thursday next the 14th instant –
Believe me most Sincerely & truly yrs
Leitrim
