My Dear Henry
We determine to take the chance of this overtaking you at Paris tho' the uncertainty of it mi raffredda molto in writing com'è naturale. Mi pare that we shall find molto difficoltà <1> in suiting ourselves in a house, as we require Sun & Sea & room & air, not too far from the Opera which is the only resource here. I was much struck with the beauty of the place on first arriving, it is a mixture of Naples & Marseilles. Il caro Angioj è quì accanto <2>, he had not even forgotten Maria <3> in his inquiries, which pray tell her. This is a very pleasant Hôtel, donnant sur la Mer <4> & we had yesterday a magnificent sun set behind La Lanterna <5>. I shall say nothing I care about in this because I feel as if you would never get it, as we calculate you will at[?] Paris Saturday night next & in London the Thursday after. Tho' we have been here so short a time Mr M. & Giovannini <6> are both keeping their bed, but we have found a Medico Genovese stimatissimo <7> - Lady Georgiana Neville <8> is the only compatriote I have yet seen
God Bless you
Monsr
